Coach Rose is a 1986 Graduate of Northport High School on Long Island. While at Northport, he played three years of soccer and one year of baseball. During his senior year, he was honored by winning the Bea Barley Scholarship for Physical Education. The following year he attended the State University of New York College at Cortland where he went on to major in Physical Education with a concentration in Sport Management. In December of 2004, Coach Rose completed his Masters in Physical Education from the City University of New York at Queens College.
In 2000, Coach Rose began his teaching career in Houston, Texas, teaching elementary physical education. The following year he returned to New York where he taught elementary through high school physical education at the Windward School in White Plains. From 2002 to 2004, Coach Rose taught elementary physical education in the Yonkers Public Schools. Coach Rose joined the Arlington District in the Fall of 2004, where he helped open the Vail Farm Elementary School. He is currently in his second year teaching elementary physical education.
Coach Rose began his high school coaching career in the Fall of 2001, at Byram Hills High School in Armonk, New York. Coach Rose held various coaching positions with the Boys and Girls Soccer programs for the next two years. He was also the modified ice hockey coach for three years at Byram Hills. In 2003, Coach Rose became the JV Soccer Coach for Carmel High School. Coach Rose is currently in his first year with the Arlington Boys Soccer Program. Coach Rose is coaching the JV “B” team.
Coach Rose resides in Westchester County, with his wife Mary and their son Billy.
